Six FLM learners have recently completed their Activity Leadership Level 2 Qualification with St Helens Rugby League Club Community Development Foundation with all of them going on to gain employment with the organisation or study further at college.
As part of their Activity Leadership Apprenticeship the group have learnt how to coach and lead activity sessions that are fun and enjoyable and most importantly safe.
Will Koller, FLM Tutor said, “The guys from Saints Community Development Foundation have progressed very well in their time on programme. The new skills they have learned will continue to assist them in their employment and the new qualifications which they have all moved on to.
“The Activity Leadership Apprenticeship really is an excellent gateway into a job or further education which is shown by the fact that all of them have progressed on to the next step of their career.”
